Hansen Livestock is owned and operated by Myles and Colleen Hansen. We are located 25 km northeast of Kinistino, SK bordering the Fort a la Corne forestry. Our land base consists of 800 acres of pasture and hay land, and 640 acres of lease land for grazing.
Our operation is largely commercial and consists of 120 females. The core of our herd consists of Maine Anjou X Angus cows, using Simmental bulls for the last few years. We also have some registered Simmental and Maine Anjou cattle. We calve a small group of cows in February–March, with the majority of the cow herd calving on grass in April–May.
Our main goal is to produce consistent, high quality, functional cattle, whether destined for the feedlot or the show ring.
